Cottage Themed Cookies

In addition to celebrating her parents' anniversary with Muskoka cottage themed cookies to remember their former cottage, Denise's family was also celebrating her dad's birthday.  Their new cottage is Lake Erie, close to a lighthouse, with lots of seagulls and Denise's dad loves to sail.  This is the cottage set I came up with and the cookies were a huge success.

1st Anniversary Cookies

Celebrating one year of wedded bliss plus the journey to get there is the story this set of cookies tells.  From meeting at the bar "Avenue" to their first date at a baseball game, the references to Australia where they lived, the Sydney Opera House which was the site of his proposal to her, the lighthouse which represents their wedding,  the pyramids because they went to Egypt for their honeymoon, the airplane to represent their love of travel, their cat Mylo and their first house and a hint to the future as well.  Wishing this lovely couple continued love and happiness!
