Pittsburgh Penquins' Sidney Crosby Hockey Jersey Cookies

Sidney Crosby is Jayce's idol, so Crosby hockey jersey cookies were the perfect addition for the loot bag for all of his friends at his 8th birthday party!  I "girl-ified" a couple of the cookies for the girls in attendance too.

Ball Hockey and Fox Racing Logo Cookies

My friend's son spent the early part of the summer participating in ball hockey tournaments all over Ontario.  I was asked to make a set of cookies for his team each tournament (see original post here), and they certainly seemed to bring them luck!  After seeing pictures and noticing their jerseys, I made set with their jersey logo as well as ball hockey sticks and balls.  I understand the boys had a great time each weekend and I hope the cookies helped win some games!

Ball Hockey Tournament Cookies

How can you easily spot a non-Canadian?  They use the term "ice hockey".  In Canada, hockey is played on the ice, we don't need to make that distinction!  Now, if hockey is played on the pavement in the off-season with a ball instead of a puck, you had better describe it as "ball hockey".  And that is what some local hockey players were doing this past weekend now that their regular hockey season is over.  They are great players, but what secret did they have in their back pockets to help them win the tournament played in London, Ontario?  Some Sweet Handmade ball hockey cookies, of course!

Bradford Bulldog Hockey Jersey Cookies

Well, spring has finally sprung and for the most part, the hockey season is over in these parts (not including the NHL, which will keep going for a while yet).  These are some of the cookies I created for a Bradford Bulldogs hockey party last month.

So while tournaments, tryouts, three-on-three and shooting a ball in the driveway will keep these boys' hockey dreams alive, they will be counting the days until their regular hockey season starts again!

Bradford Bulldog Hockey Logo Cookies

As many of you know, I only have daughters and they have never played hockey.  Hockey has become a big part of my life however, in the form of cookies.

These cookies have our local team's logo - the bulldog.  Each player received a bulldog and a personalized cookie with their name and number and traveled to Lake Placid for the team's final tournament of the season!

Hockey Jersey Cookies

The end of the hockey season brings a lot of hockey jersey orders.  Enjoy some of my latest orders:

Tracy's hockey team was heading into the finals and were hoping for a win.  Custom cookies for every lady on the team, including the coach, were ordered.  Alas, Tracy's team did not take the championship. I had hoped my cookies would bring the team luck, and perhaps if the team had eaten their cookies before the game instead of after, who knows!  Nevertheless, the cookies were a great way to celebrate the end of a fun season.

My friend Tanya was celebrating a birthday.  I made up these cookies for her to share with her family, one for every member of the family.

These Pittsburgh Penquin hockey jersey cookies were created for a little boy's 7th birthday.  He couldn't decide between Pittburgh or the Leafs (click here to see the Toronto Maple Leaf hockey jersey cookies), so he settled on... both!

The hockey season isn't quite over yet, at least not for me.  More hockey parties mean more hockey cookies in the next few weeks, fun!

Toronto Maple Leaf Hockey Cookies

I live in "Leaf Country" and many of my neighbours bleed blue and white.  Created for a little boy's birthday party and dedicated to all the Leaf fans who have been waiting 44 years for another cup to come to Toronto.  Go Leafs Go!

P.S.  My husband, a Habs fan, will not appreciate this post.

Hockey Cookies

While the NHL season is currently in doubt, local arenas are abuzz with youngsters of all ages taking to the ice.  These cookies were to celebrate the home opener of the Bradford Bulldogs Minor Midget A boys game last Saturday night.  Personalized for each player, these cookies can easily be adapted for any sports jersey.
